This year, Dames for Dreams has partnered up with the Seattle-Tacoma Greaser's Social Club for their first ever car-show. The GSC and D4D have a lot in common; we are a bunch of guys and gals full of passion that hope to better the world in any way we can, starting with our backbone, our community.
And that, of course, counts our members.
The GSC's promoter, Eric Elliot has been diagnosed with liver cancer. Medical bills in this wonderful country of ours can be quite expensive for something as simple as a couple of stitches (four years ago I paid what, 4k for two stitches without insurance?), let alone something as life altering as cancer. This is the GSC's first ever car show and the proceeds are to go help Eric's bills. D4D is here to lend a helping hand with our expertise in the pageant department. After all, this is not our first run on the rodeo but our *fourth* one.
The car show itself is free admission and the event family friendly, so bring the kiddo's along! And if you want some adult-only time, go visit the beer and wine garden or wait until after the pageant to enjoy the concert featuring, 6 Gun Romeo (BC), Hard Money Saints, Shivering Denizens and Piston Ready.
Oh, and if you have a funky jalopy that you want to enter in the car show, or a sweet, sweet ride you want to show off, by all means, go ahead! Just click on the banner above to go to the GSC's website and fill out the entry form.
If you want to hop on in with the Dames on our Pin Up Pageant, please do so! Just visit our Facebook page or the Pin Up FAQ page for more details.
